Holiday Shipping tips
- If you can't get there this holiday season, you can still share your
homemade treats with friends and family this holiday by shipping your gift.
- Make sure to choose the right supplies for shipping your package.
- Use new, sturdy boxes with the flaps intact. If you choose to reuse
boxes, make sure the box is in good shape and that all previous shipping
labels are removed.
- Position at least one inch of bubble wrap, peanuts or other packing
materials on all sides and use a heavy duty tape designed for packaging.
- Make sure that your gifts are securely packed in the box.
- If you can hear any items shifting when shaking the box, add more
packing material.
- Do not wrap the outside of boxes or attach any bows or string to the
outside.
- Limit your decoration of the shipping box to colored or designer
packaging tape or a drawn or painted design that lies flat against
the package.
- Create your own shipping label at fedex.com.
- Position the address label squarely on the largest surface and ensure
that it is properly and securely attached. fedex.com allows
customers to create and print a shipping label online, making this even
easier.
- FedEx also recommends placing shipper or recipient information inside
the box, in case the outer label falls off.
- FedEx offers several different shipping options, so shippers can choose
the service that meets their deadlines and budget.
- Ship before Tuesday, December 16, 2008 and
use FedEx Ground and FedEx Home Delivery Services for
the most cost effective delivery. FedEx Home Delivery service connects
virtually every residential address in the U.S. via our residential-only
delivery network while offering Date Certain, Evening and Appointment
delivery services to make shipping more convenient.
- For last-minute shoppers and shippers, the last day to ship with FedEx
Express is Tuesday, December 23, 2008 for
delivery in time for Christmas. If you missed the December
16 cutoff to ship FedEx Ground, FedEx Express offers less expensive
two-day and three-day delivery services as well.
- For shipping supplies or expert pack and ship service, visit a FedEx
Office (formerly FedEx Kinko's) location.
- For additional shipping tips and information, or to create a shipping
label, visit fedex.com.

Designed by: Terri O Design
Team and Terri O
Supplies:
- Holiday paper or fabric
- Brush
- Decoupage medium

- Ornament that opens up
( I found some from High School Musical in the kids section of a craft
store. They had candy inside them.)
- Pen or marker

Instructions:
- Take your ornament
apart. That way you won't decoupage it together!
- Cut your fabric
or tear your paper into small strips. Be sure to leave some clean edges
for the edge of your ornament.Cut strips of holiday
paper and write your favorite memory of the year or the holiday. It's
your choice. Curl up the paper and put it inside the ornament.
- Decorate the outside
with stickers or glitter. Whatever you like. Be sure to write the year
on the outside.
- Open up your time
capsule next year with your family and remember the great times. Create
one every year for years of memories.
